From the start this was a challenge with a vague brief.
Therefore, we pitched three options for their website:
- Basic 1 page website design with a simple contact form.
- Advanced website featuring; testimonials, Google Maps, advanced contact form, interactive sliders.
- Full professional website; Along with all of the advanced options included a sophisticated online booking system and ecommerce.
Mech-A-Nick take the simple approach to bookings but did want the features of the 2nd package so that is what they went for.
Webmidlands.com gave the website a crisp, clean look using a blue, grey and white palette with a logo to match.
Adding, a window effect to some of the elements on the page gives the website a really modern feel. The testimonials slider features heavily on the homepage showcasing some of the 5* reviews Mech-A-Nick have received.
Building a custom Google Map was important on this website so that it fit with the colour palette running through the rest of the website.
The contact form links with their brand new business email address. The advanced features of this allow the customer to select a type of service they are enquiring about.
Consequently, when the customer selects a type of service, it sends an automated email to Mech-A-Nick with the type of service featured first and foremost in the email. Keeping bookings and taking enquiries streamlined and simple.
